The Surface, In Which I Reside Between Inside Out
16mm film, hand-processed, digitized, color
2021
The Surface, In Which I Reside Between Inside Out is about self-reflectivity, in which the subject of the photography functions as a projection surface.
With a pinhole camera, made for 16 mm stripes, I photographed 360° of exterior and interior of a former bus station that has turned into a greenhouse. The video comprised of the 14 stripes of 16mm, projected on a mounted paper over the glass on the facade of the greenhouse; creates an interplay between outside and inside, transparency and reflection, time, light and movement.
